We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service in a calming environment.
Duties
Perform therapeutic massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities.
Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to ensure personalized care.
Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards of equipment and treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
Manage appointment scheduling and ensure timely service delivery.
Foster a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Experience
Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client concerns professionally.
