Description:
AbbVie is seeking a Medical Advisor to join their Medical Affairs team in Montreal. The role involves providing medical and scientific support to the clinical research department, developing strategic plans aligned with brand goals, and collaborating with various groups within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Doctorate, MD, or PharmD, with relevant experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, particularly in neuroscience and Parkinson's therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute medical strategies within the brand team.
Support clinical study feasibility and site mapping.
Review new clinical study protocols and research proposals.
Provide scientific and medical support for ongoing projects.
Serve as a liaison between Medical Division and commercial groups.
Ensure regulatory compliance in all studies undertaken.
Lead evidence generation plan based on identified data gaps.
Qualifications:
Doctorate, MD, or PharmD required.
Solid knowledge of biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in neuroscience and Parkinson's therapeutic areas.
Ability to prepare high-quality presentations and interpret scientific research.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and technology.
