WorkSafeBC is seeking a Medical Advisor to join their team in the Medical Services department. In this role, you will collaborate with various professionals to assist injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate medical impairments and disabilities through electronic records

Provide evidence-based medical recommendations to adjudicating officers

Collaborate with community physicians for workers' rehabilitation needs

Work in a team environment to provide opinions and recommendations

Qualifications:

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia

Minimum of five years of clinical practice experience

Interest in rehabilitation, mental health, or occupational medicine

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
 A minimum of five years of experience in clinical practice including family medicine, sports medicine, or emergency medicine and an an interest in rehabilitation, mental health, or occupational medicine

 Excellent communication skills
