WorkSafeBC is seeking a Medical Advisor to join the Medical Services department. In this role, you will collaborate with various professionals to assist injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing medico-legal opinions and recommendations related to workers' medical conditions, causes, and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate medical impairments and disabilities through electronic records review

Provide evidence-based medical recommendations to adjudicating officers

Qualifications:

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia

Eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
 A minimum of five years of experience in clinical practice including family medicine, sports medicine, or emergency medicine and an an interest in rehabilitation, mental health, or occupational medicine
 An interest in occupational health and safety and disability management concepts, including returntowork planning
 Willing to work in a teambased environment
 Excellent communication skills
