Are you a physician interested in playing a leadership role in preventing workplace injury and disease in British Columbia? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Medical Advisor to join their team in the Medical Services department. In this role, you will work with adjudicative staff, safety officers, and community physicians to assist injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work. Your responsibilities will include providing medico-legal opinions and recommendations on workers' medical conditions, causes, and treatments.

As a Medical Advisor, you will evaluate medical impairments, provide evidence-based recommendations to adjudicating officers, collaborate with community physicians, and work in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in clinical practice, eligibility for licensure in British Columbia, and a strong interest in occupational health and safety.
