Are you a physician interested in playing a leadership role in preventing workplace injury and disease in British Columbia? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Medical Advisor to join their team in the Medical Services department. In this role, you will collaborate with various professionals to assist injured workers in their recovery, rehabilitation, and safe return to work. Your primary responsibilities will include providing medico-legal opinions and recommendations on workers' medical conditions, causes, and treatments.

As a Medical Advisor, you will evaluate medical impairments and disabilities, provide evidence-based medical recommendations, collaborate with community physicians, and work in a team environment to support injured workers. The ideal candidate will have strong academic and clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work collaboratively with both medical and non-medical colleagues.

If you are eligible for full licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, have at least five years of clinical experience, and are interested in occupational health and safety, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
