LMC Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Office Administrator to join their team at the LMC Brampton clinic on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will support the clinic in providing comprehensive and patient-centric care.
Responsibilities
Prepares patients for evaluation by documenting medical history, measuring vital signs, and recording information in the patient's chart.
Coordinates patient flow within the clinic and ensures efficient facility use.
Promotes comprehensive patient care and access to the multidisciplinary team.
Prepares examination rooms and downloads diabetes devices.
Assists with administrative duties and cross-training in other departments.
Performs check-in/out duties and manages phone calls, emails, and provider schedules.
Coordinates patient visits and ensures availability of required investigations.
Assists with scheduling referrals, handles patient concerns, and maintains office supplies.
Processes patient accounts and completes third-party forms in compliance with legal requirements.
Assists with administrative duties and cross-training in other departments.
Requirements
South Asian language competency is an asset (Urdu/Hindi, Punjabi).
Previous experience in a medical setting and proficiency in medication review.
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records, medical terminology, and computer skills.
Compensation range: The expected compensation for the position is $18-$20/hourly, based on credentials and experience.
