Nova Scotia Health is seeking a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician to join the team at Valley Regional Hospital in the Western Zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, reassembling, and distributing medical supplies and devices for various hospital areas. This role also involves clerical duties and record-keeping.

If you have a Grade 12 education and have completed an approved Medical Device Reprocessing Technician Program, you could be a great fit for this position. Formal education in anatomy, medical terminology, and microbiology is preferred, as well as previous experience in an MDR setting. Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve are essential for this role.

This is a full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The salary for a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician is $23.46 - $27.92 hourly.
