The Manitoba government is seeking a Nurse 2 to work at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will investigate sudden and violent deaths, prepare reports, and provide coordination and support to various stakeholders. The position requires effective communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in stressful situations.

Responsibilities include attending death scenes, preparing reports, coordinating with law enforcement and medical professionals, and supporting families through difficult times. The Nurse 2 must have a Bachelor of Nursing degree or a Diploma in Nursing, acute care experience, and the ability to cope with stress and trauma. Knowledge of relevant legislation and investigative experience are desirable qualifications.
