Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Completed Grade 12 or equivalent, Manitoba Standards

Completion of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program preferred

Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification preferred

Experience in a Windows computer environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

Knowledge of medical terminology

Familiarity with sterile techniques and routine practices

Keyboarding skills of 50 - 55 wpm an asset

Ability to apply basic math concepts

Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Maintain confidentiality and work under pressure

Fluency in French and English may be required

Ability to perform duties as described
