Qualifications:

Active registration with the CMLTO as a General MLT required

Competent to practice Haematology / Immunohaematology (Blood Bank) and Chemistry

Basic proficiency in the use of computers required

Experience with Oracle preferred

Previous experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist preferred

French language proficiency is preferred

Principal Duties:

Perform routine laboratory testing in a core lab environment consisting of Haematology, Immunohaematology, and Chemistry

Participate in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives

Complete continuing education requirements as necessary

Other related duties as assigned
