Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Medical Radiation Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine in Thunder Bay, ON. The ideal candidate should be highly knowledgeable in nuclear medicine technologies, committed to patient safety, and experienced in delivering efficient imaging services in a healthcare environment. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and dedication to quality improvement and professional practice standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine and molecular imaging examinations.
Provide timely, safe, and efficient imaging services.
Obtain informed consent and maintain accurate documentation.
Coordinate daily workflow and prioritize emergency cases.
Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate service support.
Conduct radiopharmacy tasks and quality control procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare teams and support student education.
Evaluate patient satisfaction and support quality improvement initiatives.
Participate in health and safety training and promote workplace wellness.
Qualifications:
Advanced Diploma in Molecular Imaging from an accredited institution.
Current Certificate of Registration with CMRITO.
CAMRT registration preferred.
TDG certification preferred.
Ministry of Labour certificate required.
Recent experience in Nuclear Medicine department preferred.
Strong knowledge of imaging procedures and equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient information systems.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
