The Diagnostic Imaging department provides general radiography, CT, and US services, with opportunities to enhance CT skills. The Medical Radiation Technologist I role involves various technical radiological imaging examinations for disease diagnosis, preparing patients, producing diagnostic images, and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret physician requisitions
Prepare and assess patients for examination
Produce high-quality diagnostic images
Assist with equipment care and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
Completion of accredited MRT program
Registered with ACMDTT
Current BCLS-HCP certification
Recent experience in diagnostic imaging
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Initiative, good judgement, and attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and in emergencies
Proficient in radiation protection and safety techniques
Computer skills and adaptability
Desire for professional development
Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changes
Interpret and apply legislation, standards, policies, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mobile radiography
CT experience or completion of CT courses
