Are you a mental health professional experienced in supporting individuals in psychological distress? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to provide interventions to injured workers during their recovery and return to work. You will collaborate with clients, internal staff, and external stakeholders to identify and respond to risk situations, offering support to workers and families in times of distress. Your role will involve working with community mental health resources, providing support to claims management teams, and delivering presentations on suicide risk identification and response.

Your background and experience should include a master's degree in a related discipline, four years of relevant experience with a master's degree or six years with a bachelor's degree, registration or eligibility with a professional college or regulatory body, and a valid B.C. driver's license. Before employment, you must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm your eligibility to work in Canada.
