Are you a mental health professional experienced in supporting individuals in psychological distress? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to provide interventions to injured workers in their recovery and return to work. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, internal staff, and external stakeholders to identify and respond to risk situations, offering support to injured workers and their families during periods of psychological distress. You will also work with community mental health resources and service providers, serving as a resource to claims management teams across the province.

Your background and experience should include a master's degree in a related field, four years of related experience with a master's degree, or six years of related experience with a bachelor's degree. Registration or eligibility to register with a professional college or regulatory body is required, along with a valid B.C. driver's license. Before employment, you must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm eligibility to work in Canada.
