Are you a mental health professional experienced in supporting individuals in psychological distress? WorkSafeBC is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to provide interventions to injured workers during their recovery and return to work. In this role, you will collaborate with clients in distress, internal staff, and external stakeholders to identify and respond to risk situations. Your responsibilities will include offering support to injured workers and their families during periods of psychological distress, working with community mental health resources, and serving as a resource to claims management teams throughout the province.

Requirements include a master's degree in a related discipline, experience in mental health and crisis intervention, registration with a professional college or regulatory body, and a valid B.C. driver's license. Before employment, candidates must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm eligibility to work in Canada.
