Humber River Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their Medical Imaging team at the Wilson site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning various cases, preparing patients for MRI procedures, following MRI safety practices, and working independently with minimum supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

Scanning a variety of cases, including neuro, musculoskeletal, abdominal, angiographic, and breast patients.

Preparing and assessing patients for MRI procedures, including safety screening and obtaining consent.

Completing the exam process by reviewing images and presenting them to radiologists for reporting.

Following MRI safety practices for patient, colleague, and self-protection.

Qualifications:

Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario required.

MRT plus MRI certification required.

Previous clinical MRI experience required.

Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good teamwork and customer service skills required.

IV certification required.

 MRT plus MRI certification required.
 Registration with CAMRT preferred.
 Previous recent clinical MRI experience required.

 Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
 Must have good teamwork and customer service skills.
 Must be IV certified.
