Reporting to the Charge MRI Technologist, this position supports a safe and efficient patient care experience. Responsible for providing high-quality direct patient care and producing quality images, this role is part of an interdisciplinary Diagnostic Imaging team and requires working all shifts and providing on-call coverage when assigned.

Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma from an accredited MRI Technologist Program recognized by the CMRITO & CAMRT required
Successful completion of the CAMRT Certification examination in MRI
Training:
Annual continuing education requirements
Attend in-services as required
Experience:
Proficient general knowledge of computers and utilizing software application programs
Practices effective magnetic field safety techniques
Good organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff, and physicians
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and cooperatively to foster an environment that promotes good teamwork

CAMRT MRI exam certification
In good standing with the CMRITO
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers certification
Venipuncture certification preferred
Professional Membership(s):
Member in good standing and current registration/eligible for registration with the CMRITO and CAMRT with an MRT (MR) designation
