IWK Health is seeking a temporary MRI Technologist to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing procedures for medical diagnosis, and providing patient care. This position requires independent judgment and initiative.

The hours of work for this role include daytime and evening shifts, with on-call responsibilities after hours and on weekends. Qualified candidates must be graduates of a recognized school of Medical Radiation Technology and registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals. Basic Life Support certification is also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to make independent technical decisions, and work well as part of a team.
