IWK Health, located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking two full-time MRI Technologists to join the Clinical Care & Chief Nursing Executive, Diagnostic Services & Maritime Medical Genetics department. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, performing procedures for medical diagnosis, and providing patient care. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

The MRI Technologist will work 75 hours biweekly, with rotational standby and callback duties. Qualified candidates must be graduates of a recognized school of Medical Radiation Technology and registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals. They must also have completed a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Basic Life Support Program within the last 12 months.

Applicants should have the ability to make independent technical decisions, work well in an interdisciplinary team, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Competencies in other languages are considered an asset. The ideal candidates will be committed to ongoing education and creating a safe and supportive environment for patients.
