Description:
This job posting is for a Registered Nurse Home Care position at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The role involves providing nursing care to clients in the community, including in the home, school, and business settings. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Health Services and work under the supervision of the Nursing Resource Coordinator.
Experience:
Recent IV experience is required.
Experience in community care and/or long-term care.
Satisfactory employment record required.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
CNA Community Health Nurses Certification or relevant applicable certification preferred.
E1 Certification preferred.
Wound Care level 1 & 2 certification preferred.
Certification/Licensure/Registration:
Responsible for maintaining and providing proof of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM).
Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position will be in accordance with the Employer policy.
Subject to Immunization and Tuberculin testing as per WRHA policy.
Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license required.
