Description:

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner at Westview Health Centre to assess and manage Family medicine patients' needs in collaboration with the admitting physician. The NP will promote excellence in clinical practice and utilize a comprehensive knowledge base to provide comprehensive health services.

The Nurse Practitioner will integrate nursing and medical skills to assess, diagnose, order and interpret tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to meet patients' health needs. Advanced practice nursing competencies will be utilized to increase care quality, promote appropriate health service use, and inform healthcare systems. This position is unionized and represented by the Alberta Union of Nurse Practitioners (AUNP).
