Description:

A Nurse Practitioner position is available in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada at a Substance Use Day Treatment unit. This is a Permanent Full-Time role with a competitive salary range of $65.09 - $76.14 per hour.

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to clients with substance use disorders. This includes conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive health assessments
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families

  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives

    • Qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience working with clients with substance use disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in addiction medicine
