This job posting is for a Nurse Practitioner/Clinical Nurse Specialist position within the Veterans Care Program at Parkwood Institute Main in London, ON. The role involves working with a team of family physicians and an interdisciplinary team to support a geriatric population in long-term care.

The essential qualifications include registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse Extended Class, a Master's of Science in Nursing or Master's of Nursing, and certification as a Primary or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. The candidate must also have knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting and the ability to act as a supervisor under OHSA.

Preferred qualifications include proficiency in French, collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams, and experience promoting evidence-based practice. The candidate should also have CNA Certification in Gerontological Nursing and Hospice/Palliative Care Nursing.

The successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching and research activities in addition to clinical duties. Immunization requirements include proof of immunity against various diseases and documentation of Tuberculosis skin testing.
