Description:
Adecco is partnering with a highly respected and well-established outpatient healthcare clinic in Toronto, ON, to hire skilled and motivated Occupational Therapists. The OT will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to help individuals develop, restore, or maintain daily living skills. They will work with clients of all ages, evaluating physical, cognitive, emotional, and environmental factors to deliver evidence-based treatment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' functional abilities.
Develop customized treatment plans to improve independence in daily living.
Deliver therapeutic interventions such as motor skill development and cognitive rehabilitation.
Recommend and train clients on adaptive equipment and assistive technologies.
Provide education and coaching to clients, families, and caregivers.
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on client goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and professionals.
Support discharge or transition planning across different settings.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Current, valid registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Experience in clinical, community, or pediatric settings is an asset.
CPR/First Aid certification required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Client-centered, compassionate approach to care.
Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and assistive technology.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
