This job posting is for two term positions in the Yukon Home Care Program, one working 75 hours bi-weekly until September 15, 2026, and the other working 67.5 hours bi-weekly until December 17, 2026. The posting will also create an eligibility list for future positions. The program provides client-focused health services in the home, supporting individuals to live independently. The position involves working with an interdisciplinary team to provide care services for clients with various impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and consultations to enhance clients' abilities
Plan, deliver, and evaluate services through assessments and interventions
Train Continuing Care staff and supervise support staff
Qualifications:
Current registration or eligibility for registration with a Canadian Occupational Therapy regulatory body
Experience in a community or long-term care setting is an asset
Experience supervising support staff is an asset
