Description:

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team at the Kitchener Branch. This position offers a flexible schedule, a mix of in-person and virtual client visits, and the opportunity to work as a Casual Employee or Independent Contractor. The successful candidate will have the chance to utilize their Occupational Therapy skills in a community setting while providing high-quality care to clients.

Rate of pay:

Employee - $77.50 per visit with benefits such as sick days, vacation, RRSP, and Health Benefits. Independent Contractor - $87.50 per visit.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, treatment, education, referrals, and management of clients
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Collaborating with the health team
  • Communicating with clients/care providers and providing education
  • Observing and guiding those assisting in the program
  • Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining active standing in the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Participating in ongoing education activities
  • Adhering to Bayshore Therapy & Rehab Policies and Procedures
  • Participating in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and notifying of any Health & Safety risks
  • Completing other tasks as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered and in good standing with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • One year of experience providing Occupational Therapy services
  • Experience with in-home assessments and treatments is an asset
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle
