Description:

We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Special Care Services department. The role involves being a clinical resource and part of an interdisciplinary case management team dedicated to providing high-quality service to severely injured workers. Responsibilities include assisting individuals in self-care, vocational rehabilitation, and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply theoretical knowledge to assess, interpret, plan, and implement health care services

Conduct onsite visits to injured workers and external service providers

Provide clinical support during team meetings

Collaborate with external stakeholders for stay-at-work programs and return to work planning

Deliver education sessions to internal and external audiences

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration in British Columbia

Minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in various areas

Ability to travel throughout the region and hold a valid B.C. driver's license

Important Information:

Must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act

Confirm eligibility to work in Canada

Your background and experience

A master's degree in Occupational Therapy, and current registration in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
 A minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in practical areas such as physical health, neurology, mental health, brain injury, amputation, or spinal cord injury
 This team provides services to injured workers throughout the province; you must be able to travel
 A valid B.C. driver's license
