WorkSafeBC is seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join their Special Care Services department. The role involves providing high-quality services to severely injured workers to help them maintain independence in various activities. The position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work and office-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply theoretical knowledge to assess, plan, and implement health care services for clients
  • Conduct onsite visits to injured workers and external service providers
  • Provide clinical support during team meetings
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders for stay-at-work programs
  • Deliver education sessions to internal and external audiences
  • Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
  • Minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in various areas
  • Valid B.C. driver's license
