Description:
We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Special Care Services department. The role involves being a clinical resource and part of an interdisciplinary case management team dedicated to assisting severely injured workers in achieving independence in self-care, vocational rehabilitation, and daily living activities.
**What you'll do**
Apply theoretical knowledge to assess, interpret, plan, and implement health care services for clients with physical or mental health conditions
Conduct onsite visits to injured workers, worksites, and external service providers
Provide clinical support during team meetings
Oversee complex physical or mental health claims and monitor return-to-work plans
Collaborate with external stakeholders for stay-at-work programs and return-to-work planning
Deliver education sessions to internal and external audiences

**Your background and experience**
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
Minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in various practical areas
Ability to travel throughout the province
Valid B.C. driver's license
