Description:

We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in the Special Care Services department. The role involves being a clinical resource and part of an interdisciplinary case management team dedicated to assisting severely injured workers in achieving independence in self-care, vocational rehabilitation, and daily living activities.

**What you'll do**

  • Apply theoretical knowledge to assess, interpret, plan, and implement health care services for clients with physical or mental health conditions
  • Conduct onsite visits to injured workers, worksites, and external service providers
  • Provide clinical support during team meetings
  • Oversee complex physical or mental health claims and monitor return-to-work plans
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders for stay-at-work programs and return-to-work planning
  • Deliver education sessions to internal and external audiences

  • **Your background and experience**

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
  • Minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in various practical areas
  • Ability to travel throughout the province
  • Valid B.C. driver's license

  • Meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
