Description:

We're seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our Special Care Services department. In this role, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to assisting severely injured workers in regaining independence in various areas. The position involves offering compassionate support to those injured at work and conducting onsite visits to assess services provided to injured workers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply theoretical knowledge to plan and implement health care services
  • Conduct onsite visits and provide clinical support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for stay-at-work programs
  • Provide education sessions to internal and external audiences
  • Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
  • Minimum of six years of clinical OT experience in various areas
  • Ability to travel throughout the region and hold a valid B.C. driver's license
  • Before finalizing any offer, candidates must meet legal requirements under the Criminal Records Review Act and confirm eligibility to work in Canada.
