In this position, you will be responsible for assessment, intervention, and consultation for individuals with assistive technology (AT) needs through the I CAN Centre for Assistive Technology. The program mission is to positively affect the lives of people who have disabilities with assistive technology (AT). The I CAN Centre is a lifespan service. The current assignment will include children and adults with complex neurodevelopmental and neuromotor diagnoses. As the successful candidate, you'll come to our team with welldeveloped communication skills and a talent for building consensus when working with a multidisciplinary team. You'll also be skilled at building trusted relationships in interprofessional teams while still being autonomous and selfdirected. You'll be focused, adaptable and flexible while working different patient populations and assignments. To be successful in this role, you will be comfortable with managing complex cases and identifying unique solutions for patients with little additional input. In this position, you will be on your feet for an extended period (both walking and standing), and you must be able to assist in transporting, lifting and positioning of patients.
