Description:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will provide evidence-informed services, focusing on occupational performance to meet individual, group, or community needs. Acting as a service provider, consultant, educator, or advocate, you will be an integral part of the healthcare team. Your role will involve enabling meaningful occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure, and supporting clients to achieve optimal functional abilities and independence. You will provide a range of services, including assessment, treatment, education, case management, and collaboration with stakeholders in various environments.

You will work closely with clients and families, encouraging their active participation in care decisions and collaborating on rehabilitation plans. Participation in interprofessional teams, quality improvement initiatives, peer mentoring, and student supervision will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you may provide clinical supervision to Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides.
