Assisted Living Alberta is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join the Home and Community Care team in Edmonton Zone Continuing Care. The successful candidate will work independently in clients' homes, which could include congregate settings, single family dwellings, condos and/or walkup apartments. Therefore, the successful candidate must be able to work in different settings and environments (home environments and weather conditions), as well as be able to lift and carry medical bags, which weigh approximately 2530 lbs. At the time of interview, you may be required to demonstrate your computer knowledge and proficiency by completing a handson assessment. You must demonstrate sufficient typing speed to meet workload demand and navigate through various computer programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Outlook and the Internet.
