Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with Allshores Limited to find an Overnight Care Associate for a remote role based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The role involves coordinating urgent medical care services during overnight hours, handling air ambulance transfers, and supporting global members in accessing timely care.
The successful candidate will manage overnight communications, ensure services are delivered according to policy terms, and make informed decisions during critical situations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to all inbound calls, emails, and faxes during overnight hours.
Gathering necessary information to open new cases, including urgent medical cases.
Coordinating air ambulance transfers and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
Delivering high-quality customer service with empathy and professionalism.
Maintaining accurate case notes and relevant data.
Utilizing problem-solving skills and negotiating techniques.
Communicating with Team Lead or Manager for guidance.
Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Providing administrative support to other departments.
Your Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in customer service or case coordination.
Knowledge of insurance or health care preferred.
Excellent communication skills and active listening ability.
Post-secondary education in a health-related field or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
