We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal Intern/Student to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, research abilities, and a keen eye for detail, supporting our RCIC's with various Immigration tasks and administrative duties. Duties and Responsibilities
Assist RCICs with the preparation, review, and organization of immigration applications and supporting documentation
Conduct legal and factual research related to Canadian immigration programs, policies, and procedures
Maintain and update client files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Draft correspondence, forms, and basic legal documents under supervision
Communicate with clients to request documents, provide updates, and schedule appointments
Track application deadlines and follow up on pending matters
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and document management
Support the team with case management and general office operations as required
Ensure compliance with applicable immigration regulations and office policies
Employment Requirements / Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Paralegal Studies, Law, Immigration, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong research and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with case management software is an asset
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
Interest in pursuing a career in law or the immigration field
