Description:

Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying customer needs and providing financial advice. Collaborates with BMO partners to grow customer relationships and achieve business objectives through various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities beyond personal banking.
  • Assists customers in the branch lobby, guiding them on digital and self-serve options.
  • Conducts client conversations, recommends alternative banking channels, and provides banking and investment advice.
  • Meets transaction-based needs seamlessly.
  • Reviews customer profiles, engages in needs-based conversations, and identifies opportunities.
  • Supports branch business results and operational activities.
  • Acts as a key member of a collaborative branch and market team.
  • Integrates marketing promotions into customer conversations and provides strategic advice.
  • Organizes work information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Contributes to the ongoing improvement of the customer experience.
  • Follows through on risk and compliance processes to safeguard customers' assets.
  • Maintains knowledge of personal banking products, trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity related to money laundering.
  • Completes tasks within set limits and escalates issues as needed.
  • May work at multiple branches or channels based on market needs.
  • Complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Protects the Bank's assets in compliance with regulations.
  • Analyzes issues and determines next steps.
  • Broader work may be assigned as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field.
  • Registration to sell investment products (Canada only).
  • Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resourceful self-starter with a focus on results.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Analytical and organizational skills.
  • Salary: $36,000.00 - $54,500.00
