Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to clients

Support clients with daily activities

Assist clients with ambulation and transfers

Promote client independence

Provide emotional and psychological support

Maintain a safe environment for clients and workers

Work Conditions:

Requires travel within the community or facility and may involve long hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet organizational needs.

Physical Requirements:

Standing for extended periods

Lifting, pushing, and turning

May involve repetitive movements

Pay Rate: Starting at $20 per hour

Qualifications:

PSW certification or diploma is a must.
 First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
 Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations ( up to date)
 Have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel within a community
 Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
 Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Healthcare Staff and clients
 Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team environment
 Interest in continuous learning  high energy and focused
