We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to an individual within the home. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of the client by offering personalized support tailored to their needs. This role is vital for ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for those receiving care.
Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration
Support with meal preparation as needed
Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
Assist with activities tailored to specific needs (i.e. working with a person with a disability)
Support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life through personalized care plans
Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
Qualifications
Experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings preferred
Knowledge of patient care practices, medication administration, and caregiving techniques
Familiarity with working with people with disabilities is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client mobility or transfers
Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
Ability to work independently
Valid certification or training in caregiving or nursing-related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
Must be reliable, patient-focused, and committed to providing exceptional support to clients
