We are currently seeking Casual Personal Support Workers (PSW) for a Congregate Care Home in Kanata. Drive your career forward with us as we cover your mileage and travel time. We are a participating employer of the Health Force Ontario (HFO) PSW, Return of Service (ROS) program, offering $10,000 in funding for eligible PSW graduates in exchange for a 12-month commitment to work full-time.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
RN or RPN
Nursing student with 2 clinical placements completed
Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

A valid driver's license and vehicle for daily work
Meet Immunization requirements (MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus, Covid)
Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
Current Standard CPR level C certificate
Availability to work days and every other weekend
Physically demanding position requiring various physical abilities
