CarePartners is seeking Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide quality home health care services to patients in the Sault Ste Marie area. As part of a dedicated health care team, PSWs will assist patients with daily living activities and promote independence in home and community settings. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, and special functions

Promote a safe environment through proper body mechanics, transfer techniques, and home safety

Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on care plans and hygiene practices

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Availability for non-traditional hours and weekends

Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance

Certificate as a PSW, Health Care Aid, or enrollment in a Nursing program

What The Role Involves:

Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care (rise and retire), assistance with household tasks, respite care, medication assistance, special functions
 Promoting a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety
 Providing cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the patient
 Preparing nutritious, varied and economical meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan, using proper food preparation, storage, and hygiene practices.

 Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
