This job posting is for a permanent part-time position in Pelly Crossing, Yukon, with a rotation of 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off. The successful candidate will work in an expanded scope of practice, providing primary care, emergency treatment services, health education/promotion activities, and disease prevention in a dynamic and evolving environment. Reporting to the Primary Health Care Nurse-in-Charge, duties include assisting with planning, developing, and evaluating public health/education programs.

In addition to a competitive salary, benefits include a $7,500 signing bonus for newly hired nurses, yearly reimbursement for licensing fees, travel allowances, retention allowances, and community allowances. Essential qualifications include current registration with a Canadian nursing regulatory authority, recent experience in emergency care, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.

Candidates should have strong knowledge in emergency treatment services, community health programs, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead, instruct, and counsel. Additional requirements include TB screening, a criminal record check, a valid driver's license, and trauma certification to be obtained within 6 months. Job requirements include willingness to travel, frequent driving, lifting up to 30lbs, and providing care in and out of Health Centres.
