The Canadian Red Cross is seeking a Public Health Nurse / Senior Clinical Health Specialist to provide direct clinical care in various settings across Canada. The role focuses on maternal/child health, school health, communicable disease, and immunization programs to improve population health. The incumbent will report to various managers and must be able to work independently in low-resource settings.

In this role, you will:

Complete required training and obtain necessary licensure

What we are looking for:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Public Health Nurse role

Fluency in English and French (for Quebec positions)

Experience working in Indigenous communities is an asset

Working Conditions:

This role requires scheduled travel and in-person presence in communities. Personnel are eligible for a daily per diem and potential incentives according to Canadian Red Cross policy.

The role will include providing direct clinical care to beneficiaries and may require the ability to practice independently in low resources settings and may be located in communities without an onsite Physician or diagnostics team.
