Description:
RVH's Cardiac Intervention Unit (CIU) is a 16-bed, 14,300 square-foot space with cutting-edge technology for cardiac procedures. The Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the Cardiac Intervention Unit & Cardiac Care Unit Manager and provides optimal care for Cardiology patients undergoing procedures.
Education:
Current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
Critical Care Certificate preferred
Coronary Care I & II required
Current BCLS and ACLS required
Minimum of one year critical care experience required
Experience:
Experience in Cardiac Intervention Unit or pre & post area required
Strong background in cardiovascular physiology and rhythm interpretation
Experience with pacemaker device analyzing/programming required

Provide direct care for Cardiac Intervention Unit patients
