Job Summary:

The Multi Organ Transplant Unit at Toronto General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to organ transplant recipients, living donors, and pre-transplant patients. This unit is internationally renowned for its high standard of care and expertise in transplantation. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of skilled healthcare professionals and contribute to UHN's leadership in the field of transplantation.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
  • Minimum one (1) year general medical/surgical experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • B.Sc. N. preferred
  • Previous transplant nursing experience preferred
  • Previous Acute Care Unit experience preferred
  • Membership in the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario preferred
  • Additional Skills: Authorization/certification in various medical procedures
