University Health Network (UHN) is currently seeking two Registered Nurses to join the team at Toronto General Hospital. UHN is Canada's top research hospital, known for its biomedical research and patient care. The successful candidates will work in the General Internal Medicine department for a temporary full-time position lasting 12-18 months.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at UHN, you will provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent care in accordance with professional standards and the UHN Professional Practice Model. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the legal and ethical requirements of the profession.

Duties

Applying knowledge of nursing science, theory, skill, and critical decision making

Ensuring practice is consistent with professional standards and ethical frameworks

Performing reflective practice and modifying care to improve quality

Performing cross-functional and other assigned responsibilities

Qualifications

Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification

Flexible and able to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills

Excellent organizational, time management, and computer skills

BScN degree preferred
