Located in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, Cornwall Community Hospital is currently seeking a Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse for the Acute Medicine unit. The hospital provides a wide range of acute inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health services to a catchment area of 100,000 people. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, effective, patient-centered nursing care and acting as a resource for the care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting patients and the community in managing clinical conditions and transitions
Maximizing self-care abilities and promoting caregiver inclusion in the patient's plan of care
Delivering safe, compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care in a collaborative environment
Qualifications:
Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum of 3-4 years of med/surg work experience
Functional level in both official languages (English and French)

Palliative care courses or certification
