Key Responsibilities:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program

Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification

Driver's Abstract completed by AHS with no GDL restrictions

Demonstrate proficiency in Patient and Family Centered Care principles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and willingness to learn new skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year of community nursing experience, preferably in Community Nursing

Experience with Connect Care, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills

Education in InterRAI-HC, Case Management, Connect care training, Palliative care experience, Placement understandings, Service contracts

Demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills

Excellent time management and prioritization skills
