Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for nursing assessments, care planning, implementing treatments, administering medications, evaluating progress, and documenting patient responses. They act as an advocate, coordinator, and liaison for patients, identifying needs and setting priorities with the team. The RN also provides patient and family education, discharge planning, and may act as a charge nurse.

This position follows established standards, Covenant Health's Mission, Vision, Values, and policies. It is covered by the UNA Collective Agreement and requires active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) certification is also necessary.
