This job posting is for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse position at the Portage Regional Health Centre in Portage la Prairie. The position is permanent with a 0.50 FTE and involves working both day and night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to clients/residents/patients in various healthcare settings, including acute care, personal care homes, and home care.

The ideal candidate will have the necessary education, certifications, and registrations, including current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale, and Trauma Nursing Care. A valid Class 5 driver's license and vehicle insurance are also required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
 Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Public HealthHealthy Living, Home Care, Oncology/Cancer Care).
 Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
 Current Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification.
 Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification.
 Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an allpurpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.
